Tourism In Uzbekistan


Uzbek Tourism:
The tourism industry of Uzbekistan has great potential which is gradually increasing. Another thing which increases the importance of Uzbekistan is silk route which is linking Eastern and Western civilizations. The national museums of Uzbekistan have over two million artifacts, which is symbol of the unique historical, cultural and spiritual life of the Uzbek ethnic peoples that have lived in the region. Uzbekistan attracts tourists with its historical, archaeological, architectural and natural treasures.

Places to Visit:
Uzbekistan is landlocked country the weather and nature of it is dry although Uzbekistan have the largest oasis in central Asia which is in oval shaped the river complete its round which is one of the beautiful place to visit likewise there are following types of tours to visit Uzbekistan places.

1- Mountaineering, hiking and rock-climbing:
The tourists who love active forms of tourism such as mountaineering and rock climbing must love the rocky mountains of Uzbekistan as it is very special for such sort of tours. Most famous for active forms of tourism from Tashkent is a highlands Chimgan located in the mountain massive of dominant greater Chimgan peak 3,309 meters of the Chatkal range at an altitude of 1,620 meters. This place enhances hundredths of routes for hiking, climbing, horse riding, and mountain skiing and hang-gliding.

2- Architectural and historical sights:
There are several sites in Samarkand for international tourist which are Shah-e-zinda, Bibi-khanym Mosque, Registan, Gur-e-emir and in Bukhara the Ark citadel, Po-e-kalyan complex, Lyabi khauz ensemble, Samanid mausoleum and Lyabi khauz ensemble, and of course Khiva with its old holy inner city Ichan kala, mosques, madrasahs, minarets, walls and gates are one of the best historical sites of world tourism.

3- Tourism in Khorezm Province and Karakalpakstan:
There are three most important tourism centers in Uzbekistan on which Ancient Khiva is one of the great historical cultural and ethnographic potential. The territory of the Khorezm Province and Karakalpakstan is enhancing several archaeological, natural, historic, and architectural sites. The Khorezm province itself house of round about 300 historic monuments.
From the last few years, the tourism potential at the region was improved due to availability of advance facilities near spots and new places to visit. On which the Savitsky museum in the town of Nukus is bearer of collection of many unique art and works of avant gardism. The museum also enhances several amazing regional collection. Many of tourists group of ecological tours are organized their trip to ship cemetery located in Muynak area along which was the part of coastline of the Aral Sea.

Accessibility of the country:
Most of the tourists involve coming and leaving Uzbekistan through Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan. The city has international airport, a domestic airport, two railway stations, and several bus stations. Some of the travelers try to avoid Tashkent airport. Tashkent is serviced by Uzbekistan Airways, Aeroflot, Korean AirAir Baltic Asiana Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Transaero, Czech airlines, Iran air, air Astana, S7 airlines seven more airports of Uzbekistan have international status. Those airports are of Samarkand, Bukhara Urgency Namangan airport, Namangan, Anzizhan airport Andizhan, Fergana Airport Fergana and Nukus Airport Nukus Besides local flights and some regular international flights, almost exclusively to Russia along with occasional tourist charters to Samarkand, Bukhara, Nukus and Urgency  The tickets for domestic flights can be reserved or purchased outside of the country at Uzbekistan Airways offices or agencies or via a number of online websites. Uzbekistan Airways transported more than 1.7 million passengers in 2005.
